Climate Change Tree Atlas

The Climate Change Tree Atlas helps determine current and future suitable habitat and distribution of 134 tree species in the Eastern United States based on current climate and projected suitable habitat for the year 2100. The Atlas provides detailed information on environmental characteristics defining these distributions for each species, and can be used to develop large-scale projections of species responses to climate change. Planning and Facilitating Collaborative Meetings (NOAA Training)

Provided by the NOAA Office for Coastal Management, this two-day instructor-led course is designed to increase participants’ ability to plan and facilitate a meeting (or a series of meetings) that minimize conflict and enhance problem solving. Collaboration is often cited as a good way to address coastal resource management issues, but the collaborative process is complicated, requiring a systematic approach. This course provides the skills and tools to design and implement collaborative approaches.

A Guide for Tribal Leaders on U.S. Climate Change Programs

Developed through the Tribal Climate Change Project, this guide highlights programs, funding, and assistance available to American Indian Tribes and Alaska Native communities seeking to address climate change. The guide summarizes key U.S. government programs addressing climate change, and opportunities for tribal engagement and contacts for each agency. Tribal, academic, and non‐governmental agencies and programs to assist tribes in addressing climate change are reviewed as well.
