National Climate Adaptation Science Center

The USGS National Climate Adaptation Science Center (formerly the National Climate Change and Wildlife Science Center) is the managing entity for eight regional Department of the Interior Climate Adaptation Science Centers (CASCs) across the continental U. S. , Alaska, Hawai'i, and U. S. Affiliated Pacific Islands.  CASCs are researching climate change impacts on fish, wildlife, habitats, and other resources - to provide information and decision-making tools to support climate resilient ecosystems and communities.

A division of the U. S. Department of Transportation specializing in highway transportation, the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) is committed to improving transportation mobility and safety while protecting the environment, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and preparing for climate change effects on transportation systems. They initiate and disseminate climate change related research, while providing technical assistance to stakeholders. The FHWA is also involved in climate change initiatives with the U.
