Defenders of Wildlife
Defenders of Wildlife is a national, nonprofit membership organization dedicated to the protection of all native animals and plants in their natural communities. They are helping to conserve wildlife in the face of climate change by bringing the best science to address the problem, incorporating climate change into wildlife and habitat conservation planning, understanding specific threats through vulnerability assessments and making management recommendations. Defenders of Wildlife is committed to protecting wildlife across the nation and even across international borders.

Arizona State Climate Office
The Office of the Arizona State Climatologist is housed within the School of Geographical Sciences at Arizona State University. The purpose of the program is to: (1) disseminate climatological information about the State of Arizona, (2) monitor the climate of Arizona and the region, (3) collaborate with state agencies in need of climate data and advisement, and (4) study the climate of Arizona and conduct research aimed at a better understanding of the Arizona climate. The State Climatologist is an active member of the state's Drought Task Force, Arizona Flood Warning System, and the State Hazard Mitigation Task Force, and is engaged in research on the urban heat island, climate variability in the southwest, and water resource planning.

The Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies (AFWA) is comprised of member fish and wildlife agencies from every level of government.
