Developed by the Center for American Progress, Resilient Midwestern Cities Improving Equity in a Changing Climate provides users with guidance on how to concurrently address climate change and equity issues by implementing climate change resiliency measures in low-income areas. The report showcases existing initiatives employed in 5 Midwestern cities, and draws out recommendations for further action. This report is primarily geared towards decision makers of Midwestern cities, but the lessons learned and recommendations apply to a much wider audience.

Toward Climate Resilience: A Framework and Principles for Science-Based Adaptation

The Union of Concerned Scientists present a climate resilience framework with 15 principles that decisionmakers can use to inform their climate resilience planning and actions. The 15 principles are divided into three categories: science-based decisionmaking, equitable outcomes, and common-sense approaches. The 15 principles described by the report are summarized below.

Developing Urban Climate Adaptation Indicators
2016
The Urban Sustainability Directors Network (USDN) in partnership with the Institute for Sustainable Communities evaluated seven existing sets of climate indicators to determine if any of these frameworks could be adapted to serve city-level needs for evaluating and reporting progress on climate adaptation goals. This report summarizes their assessment. They determined that none of the existing frameworks serve the needs of cities perfectly, but many offer insights that can guide USDN members as they develop their own sets of indicators.

The County of Marin, California's “Game of Floods” is an interactive game on sea level rise climate adaptation for Marin and the San Francisco Bay Area. Climate Change & Community of Color: Key Poll Findings and Top Lines
2014
This report summarizes a 2014 poll that assessed people of color's views on climate change. It finds that climate change is a high profile issue for communities of color. It also finds that voters of color see economic benefits to investing in the green economy and see addressing climate change as a moral obligation. The poll surveyed 800 registered African American, Latino, and Asian voters in the summer of 2014.
