The SFDPH's Climate and Health Profile is an assessment and educational resource that links climate change impacts with their associated health outcomes, and identifies populations and locations most vulnerable to these health outcomes.

The 2014 report is a thorough revision and expansion of the 2008 report of the same name, also produced by the Western Water Assessment in partnership with the Colorado Water Conservation Board (CWCB).

The report describes the projected impacts of climate change affecting the San Diego region related to extreme weather events, water supply, wildfires, natural resources and public health, as well as a wide range of adaptive strategies for local leaders to consider. This report is part of an effort by the Climate Education Partners (CEP) to develop and implement a climate change education plan for the San Diego region of California.
