California’s Adaptation Clearinghouse has been developed by the Governor’s Office of Planning and Research (OPR) in response to CA’s 2015 Senate Bill 246 - which directed OPR to form the Integrated Climate Adaptation and Resiliency Program. One main component of the Program is the State Adaptation Clearinghouse, which serves as a “centralized source of information and resources to assist decision makers at the state, tribal, regional, and local levels when planning for and implementing climate adaptation projects to promote resiliency across California.

The Water Research Foundation has developed a website of “Knowledge Portals” on various topics relating to water resources and water utilities management - including climate change. The portal includes publications by the Foundation on climate impacts, vulnerability assessments, adaptation and mitigation in the water sector, and communication resources.

The U. S. Climate Resilience Toolkit, as called for in President Obama’s Climate Action Plan, is a website developed by a partnership of federal agencies and organizations led by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). The Toolkit will enable decision-makers to take action to improve their climate resilience using data-driven tools, information, and subject-matter expertise. The comprehensive site is designed to serve interested citizens, communities, businesses, resource managers, planners, and policy leaders at all levels of government.

Researchers from the University of Rhode Island (URI) and the Rhode Island Sea Grant formed the Rhode Island Climate Change Collaborative. Experts in natural science, behavior science and communications are collectively engaging in research and outreach to prepare Rhode Islanders for climate change, and build resilient communities. The immediate goal of the Collaborative is to share information with the public about climate change impacts on the state and what adaptation options are available, through a comprehensive website.
