Antioch University’s Center for Climate Preparedness and Community Resilience offers applied research, consulting, education and training with a focus on stakeholder capacity-building at the local scale, as well as national and international resilience.
The Center’s projects are applied through "a solutions-oriented, pragmatic, participatory, and inclusive approach" - with an explicit awareness of social and climate justice.
Presented by Antioch University, in partnership with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the webinar series, Weathering Change: Local Solutions for Strong Communities is available on the Center’s website.
The Local Solutions: Eastern Regional Climate Preparedness Conference is being convened by Antioch University’s Center for Climate Preparedness & Community Resilience in partnership with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) - in Manchester, New Hampshire in April 2018. The conference is designed to build capacity for local decision makers from throughout the Eastern United States.
