Center for Transportation and the Environment (CTE)

The Center for Transportation and the Environment (CTE) conducts programs to mitigate the impacts of surface transportation on the environment, through research, education, and technology. CTE is a project of the University Transportation Centers Program, administered by the Research and Innovative Technology Administration of the U. S. Department of Transportation. CTE's Climate Change Initiative has conducted adaptation research such as the "Impacts of Climate Change on Transportation Infrastructure Design." CTE also has provided a number of related satellite broadcasts and workshops in the past, which are archived and available on their website.
