Global Climate Adaptation Partnership (GCAP)

The Global Climate Adaptation Partnership (GCAP) is a climate change and adaptation consultancy that provides climate-related services to government and commercial clients. The GCAP partnership model focuses on providing three separate but integrated services: Knowledge Management Service, Adaptation Training, and Consultancy on Climate Projects.

GCAP specializes in climate change adaptation, adaptation planning and decision-making, climate change economics, climate vulnerability, climate impacts, climate science, leadership and theory of change. GCAP is operationally based in Oxford, England with a global management team located in Virginia, USA and a regional East African office in Nairobi, Kenya; and core partnerships in Addis Ababa, Bogota, Nairobi, Oxford and Perth.

GCAP provides training through their 'Adaptation Academy' and online knowledge management services. (For more information, the Adaptation Academy is an additional entry in this clearinghouse.) The Academy is a participant driven, professional training program offered annually in the UK.
