Institute of Social and Economic Research (University of Alaska-Anchorage)
The Institute of Social and Economic Research (ISER)of the University of Alaska-Anchorage researches economic and social trends affecting the people of the state. ISER studies economic growth, population, and the effect of natural phenomena on economic activity in Alaska. ISER maintains the state's largest economic database and forecasts population and employment growth. All of ISER's research findings are published and are available through ISER's offices at UAA and many are also available on their website.
ISER also provides access to climate change mitigation and adaptation research and publications, which can be accessed on the website as well.
