Massachusetts Port Authority (Massport)

Massport is a "quasi-state agency," created by the Massachusetts State Legislature in 1956 to oversee and operate key transportation facilities in the state, including Logal International Airport and the Port of Boston. Massport is governed by a Board of Directors with seven members: six members appointed by the Governor of Massachusetts, and the Massachusetts Secretary of Transportation as a seventh ex officio member.
