New Hampshire Coastal Adaptation Workgroup

The New Hampshire Coastal Adaptation Workgroup (NHCAW) is a collaboration of 24 organizations working to help communities in New Hampshire’s Seacoast area prepare for the effects of extreme weather events and other effects of long-term climate change.

NHCAW’s work is driven by the needs identified by communities, providing communities with educational resources, facilitation, and guidance to better prepare for climate effects by protecting their social, economic, human, and environmental health.

The workgroup includes representatives from federal, state, and local government, regional planning councils, nongovernmental organizations, private businesses, the state university and its extension service that are working to improve the resilience of New Hampshire communities.

Connect to NHCAW for technical assistance, support in planning efforts, and to attend workshops. The latest adaptation news is available on the NHCAW website, where people can also sign up for email updates.
