USGS Massachusetts Water Science Center
The USGS Massachusetts Water Science Center monitors and analyzes surface-water, groundwater, water-quality and biological parameters throughout the state, and provides current real time data on ground water, streamflow, precipitation, and water quality from sites throughout Massachusetts. Data collection and interpretive studies are done in cooperation with various local, State, or Federal agencies. The center provides maps of current conditions of streamflow, drought, and flooding, as well as a number of publications, reports, and professional papers covering a complete range of hydrological topics.

This report summarizes selected local land use ordinances and regulations that include specific mention of sea level rise or that incorporate appropriate policy responses that may be used to address sea level rise.
