Oregon Sea Grant
Oregon Sea Grant supports an integrated program of research, education and public outreach to help people understand, responsibly use, and conserve ocean and coastal resources. Program activities are conducted in several interdependent and critical topical areas including healthy coastal ecosystems, sustainable coastal development, safe and sustainable seafood supply, hazard resilient coastal communities, and marine education. The program is committed to: 1) Improving human health and safety related to ocean and coastal use, 2) Promoting social progress and economic vitality, and 3) Enhancing the sustainability of coastal ecosystems.

Oregon Solutions
The mission of Oregon Solutions is to “develop sustainable solutions to community-based problems that support economic, environmental, and community objectives and are built through the collaborative efforts of businesses, government, and non-profit organizations. ” This statewide non-profit organization prioritizes some projects based on Governor approval, which benefit from state agency support in implementation. Many projects chosen address climate adaptation - focusing on such topics as water supply and conservation, maintaining healthy forests and corridors, and urban greening.

Oregon Transportation Research and Education Consortium (OTREC)
OTREC is a national University Transportation Center and a partnership between Portland State University, the University of Oregon, Oregon State University, and the Oregon Institute of Technology. OTREC stimulates and conducts research on surface transportation, educates current and future transportation leaders, and encourages the real-world use of research results. OTREC supports innovations in sustainable transportation through advanced technology, integration of land use and transportation, and healthy communities.

Oregon Climate Service
The Oregon Climate Service (OCS) is located on the Oregon State University campus in Corvallis, Oregon and is the state repository for weather and climate information. The OCS's mission is to collect, manage, and maintain Oregon weather and climate data; to provide weather and climate information to those within and outside the state of Oregon; to educate the people of Oregon on current and emerging climate issues; and to perform independent research related to weather and climate issues.

Oregon Coastal Management Program (OCMP)
Oregon's Coastal Management Program (OCMP) is the combined effort of 32 cities, seven counties, and a host of state agencies to carry out the statewide land use program on the Oregon coast. All Statewide Planning Goals apply to the coast, but the OCMP emphasizes estuarine resources, coastal shorelands, beaches and dunes, and ocean resources. The mission of the OCMP is to work in partnership with coastal local governments, state and federal agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure that Oregon's coastal and ocean resources are managed, conserved, and developed consistent with statewide planning goals.

Oregon Global Warming Commission
The Oregon Global Warming Commission was created by the 2007 Legislature through House Bill 3543. In March 2008, the Governor appointed the 11 voting members of the Commission. The Commission's general charge is to recommend ways to coordinate state and local efforts to reduce Oregon's greenhouse gas emissions consistent with Oregon's goals and to recommend efforts to help the state, local governments, businesses and residents prepare for the effects of global warming. The Commission may recommend statutory and administrative changes, policy measures and other actions to be carried out by state and local governments, businesses, nonprofit organizations, and residents.

Pacific Northwest Climate Impacts Research Consortium (CIRC) - RISA
The Pacific Northwest Climate Impacts Research Consortium (CIRC), formerly the Pacific Northwest Climate Decision Support Consortium (CDSC), provides information and tools to support decision making about landscape and watershed management in the region in a changing climate. It is a member of NOAA's Regional Integrated Sciences and Assessments (RISA) program, which supports climate research for decision-makers and policy planners at a regional level, representing Washington, Oregon and Idaho.

Southwest Fisheries Science Center - NOAA Fisheries Service
The Southwest Fisheries Science Center is the research arm of NOAA's National Marine Fisheries Service in the Southwest Region. Center scientists conduct biological, economic, and oceanographic research on marine resources throughout the Pacific Ocean and in the Southern Ocean off Antarctica, to ensure that these populations remain healthy and at sustainable levels. Responsibilities include maintaining healthy fish stocks for commercial, recreational and subsistence fishing; conserving and recovering populations of protected species; sustaining ecosystem services; and coordinating with domestic and international organizations to implement and monitor fishery agreements and treaties.

The USGS Oregon Water Science Center provides current real time data on streamflow, ground water, water quality, precipitation, and lakes and reservoirs from sites throughout the Oregon. The center also has historical data on streamflow, ground water, water quality, and other water-related information. The center also has numerous publications, data sheets, projects, and scientific reports on a range of hydrological topics.
