Sierra Nevada Alliance
Since 1993 the Sierra Nevada Alliance has been protecting and restoring Sierra lands, water, wildlife, and communities. Their mission is to protect and restore the natural resources of the Sierra Nevada for future generations while promoting sustainable communities. The organization is an alliance of over one hundred conservation groups that are based or work in the Sierra Nevada region, spanning the entire 400 mile mountain range. The Sierra Nevada Alliance is working with conservation representatives, resource managers and community leaders to ensure they have cutting-edge tools to adapt resource plans and projects and address change in ways that protect and restore Sierra waters, lands, wildlife and rural communities.

Sky Island Alliance (SIA) is a grassroots non-profit organization dedicated to the protection and restoration of the rich natural heritage of native species and habitats in the Sky Island region of the southwestern United States and northwestern Mexico. South Carolina State Climatology Office
The South Carolina State Climatology Office (SCO) was established through legislation in 1986 to provide climatological services to the people of South Carolina. The SCO is housed within the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources. SCO's mission is to archive, process, and disseminate South Carolina weather and climate data; to represent South Carolina in all climatological and meteorological matters within and outside the State, to educate the people of South Carolina on current and emerging climate issues; to assist State and Federal agencies in data acquisition and forecast interpretation before, during, and after periods of severe weather; and to conduct research related to weather and climate issues.

South Central Climate Adaptation Science Center
The South Central Climate Adaptation Science Center is one of eight regional Climate Adaptation Science Centers (CASCs) under the Department of the Interior (DOI) managed by the U. S. Geological Survey's (USGS) National Climate Adaptation Science Center. The mission of the Centers and National CASC is to "deliver science to help fish, wildlife, water, land, and people adapt to a changing climate. " CASCs provide the tools that managers need to develop and implement strategies that address the impacts of climate change on natural and cultural resources.

Sierra Climate Adaptation and Mitigation Partnership (Sierra CAMP)
The Sierra Climate Adaptation and Mitigation Partnership (Sierra CAMP) is a collaborative effort managed by Sierra Business Council. It serves as a dedicated partnership of organizations, businesses and local governments supporting vibrant communities, a resilient environment, and improved quality of life within the Sierra Nevada. Sierra CAMP activates the region on climate change, building connections with downstream stakeholders while promoting climate adaptation and mitigation strategies across the Sierra.

Sierra Club Climate Change Adaptation Team
The Climate Change Adaptation Team organizes members and activists interested in adaptation issues locally, regionally, and nationally. The Adaptation Team is working to enable conversation among Sierra Club volunteers and staff activists. The Team is part of the Sierra Club Grassroots Network, which is an incubator for volunteer-driven teams, campaigns, and initiatives that engage new people, diversify the movement, and make progress on conservation goals. .

SF Adapt (San Francisco Climate Adaptation Working Group)
Under Mayor Edwin M. Lee's leadership, the San Francisco Department of the Environment, in partnership with the Public Utilities Commission and Planning Department, has convened an inter-agency Climate Adaptation Working Group also known as SF Adapt. Participating agencies include the City Administrators Office, the Port, San Francisco International Airport, the Department of Public Works, the Municipal Transportation Agency, the Department of Public Health, and the Department of Recreation and Parks.

The South Carolina Sea Grant Consortium is a state agency that, through a program of research, education, extension, and training, enhances economic opportunities and conservation of coastal and marine resources for South Carolina citizens. South Carolina Sea Grant has five priority ares of study and investment: 1) The Coastal and Ocean Landscape, 2) Sustainable Coastal Development and Economy, 3) Sustainable Fisheries and Aquaculture, 4) Hazard Resilience in Coastal Communities, and 5) Scientific Literacy and Workforce Development.
