Partnership for Energy Sector Climate Resilience
The Partnership for Energy Sector Climate Resilience is an initiative seeking to improve energy infrastructure resilience to effects of climate change. The Department of Energy provides information and technical assistance to power utility partners who agree to assess climate vulnerabilities and pursue resilience strategies. Another element of the Partnership involves power utilities sharing information from climate resilience activities, and the DOE providing national recognition to these activities.
As of July 2016 members included Consolidated Edison of New York, Dominion Virginia Power Dominion, Entergy Corporation, Exelon Corporation, Great River Energy, Hoosier Energy, Iberdrola USA, National Grid, New York Power Authority, Pepco Holdings, Inc., Pacific Gas and Electric, Public Service Electric and Gas, Sacramento Municipal Utility District, San Diego Gas and Electric, Seattle City Light, Southern California Edison, Tennessee Valley Authority, and Xcel Energy.
