California Environmental Justice Alliance

California Environmental Justice Alliance (CEJA) is a statewide coalition of grassroots, environmental justice organizations. CEJA seeks to shift the paradigm to prioritize environmental justice communities in California’s climate policy. To do so, CEJA works to put equity at the center of the climate debate; put the most vulnerable communities in leadership roles; and reorient policy to reduce toxic hotspots, implement strong regulatory measures, and speed the transition away from fossil fuels.

In addition to its campaign for climate justice, CEJA's Energy Equity campaign promotes local, democratic, and equitable renewable energy sources and clean energy jobs, starting with communities most impacted by the fossil fuel economy and reaching 100% of energy use by 2050.
