Clean Air Cool Planet (CA-CP)

Clean Air Cool Planet (CA-CP) is a science-based, non-partisan, 501(c)3 non-profit, with offices in Portsmouth, NH; New Canaan, CT; and Washington, DC - dedicated solely to finding and promoting solutions to global warming.   

CA-CP partners with companies, campuses, communities and science centers to pioneer and improve solutions aimed at reducing carbon emissions and preparing for climate change. Through outreach efforts they help their partners, constituents, and other regional opinion leaders and stakeholders understand the impacts of global warming and its best available solutions.  CA-CP focuses on practical climate solutions that demonstrate economic opportunities and environmental benefits, and proposes the implementation of effective policy solutions aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions at the state, regional and national levels. They also work to strengthen national policies on climate adaptation and Arctic warming.  CA-CP has implemented a number of successful programs nationwide including the 'Climate Preparedness and Adaptation' program which helps communities plan and prepare for the impacts of climate change.
