Cleveland Neighborhood Progress
Cleveland Neighborhood Progress is a local community development funding intermediary that has invested in community revitalization work in Greater Cleveland, Ohio, since 1988. Its mission is to foster inclusive communities of choice and opportunity throughout Cleveland, and its primary goals include pursuing racial equity, place-making, economic opportunity, support for high-capacity community development corporations, and climate resiliency.
Through its planning process in the Climate Resiliency and Urban Opportunity Initiative, Cleveland Neighborhood Progress and its partners have identified projects, programs, policies, engagement strategies, and future research to:
- Lessen overall demand for energy
- Anticipate and prepare for climate changes
- Foster social cohesion in four target neighborhoods across the city
