National Association of Clean Water Agencies (NACWA)

NACWA believes that climate change is primarily a water issue, and the Association's advocacy focuses on the interrelationships between water resources and climate change, including the needs of clean water agencies in adapting to climate change impacts and further research about these impacts.

NACWA is a nationally-recognized leader in environmental policy, and a technical resource on water quality and ecosystem protection issues. NACWA engages with members of Congress, federal agencies, such as the EPA, and other water alliances and networks regarding federal legislative issues, and other national policies affecting national water quality.

Their website hosts information on Water Quality, Operations and Wet Weather issues such as Combined Sewer Overflows (CSOs) and stormwater management,  and Asset Management, including security and emergency preparedness issues.
