USGS Utah Water Science Center
The USGS Utah Water Science Center aggregates information on Utah's rivers and streams, ground water, water quality, and many other topics. The USGS operates the most extensive satellite network of stream-gaging stations in the state, many of which form the backbone of flood-warning systems. This center provides current real-time data on stream stage and streamflow, water quality, ground water, lakes and reservoirs from over 130 sites in Utah. The Center has historical data on streamflow, ground water, water quality, and other water-related information, as well as numerous publications, data sheets, projects, and scientific reports on a range of hydrological topics.
USGS Water Science Centers are located in each state, producing data for the 50 states, U.S. territories, and the District of Columbia.
