USGS Washington Water Science Center
The USGS Washington Water Science Center aggregates all kinds of water resource information, including information on Washington's rivers and streams, ground water, water quality, and many other topics. The USGS operates the most extensive satellite network of stream-gaging stations in the state, many of which form the backbone of flood-warning systems. The center provides current real time data on streamflow, flooding, drought, surface water, ground water, and water quality. The center also has numerous publications, data sheets, projects, and scientific reports on a range of hydrological topics.
USGS Water Science Centers are located in each state, producing data for the 50 states, U.S. territories, and the District of Columbia.
