S. and Canada for addressing the impacts of climate change on public health, and provides a set of best practices and example case studies of local solutions. The report summarizes research findings that identify best practices for communicating about climate adaptation to the public, building local capacity, and establishing beneficial collaborations. According to the authors, this report should be useful to public health officials and community organizations; city and county public agencies, especially those involved in city planning and sustainability; and scholars in these fields.
