Minnesota Climate Adaptation and Resilience Cost Study

Minnesota’s Pollution Control Agency published the “Minnesota Climate Adaptation and Resilience Cost Study” in March 2026, in compliance with the 2024 Minnesota Session Laws, Ch. 116, Article 2, Sec. 33 to “carry out a study on climate adaptation and resilience costs.” The study analyzes the cost of inaction, cost of adaptation, and residual risks under three potential climate change scenarios (intermediate, high, and very high emissions).

Delaware Climate Action Plan (2025)
December 2025
In December of 2025, Delaware published their 2025 Climate Action Plan. As mandated by the 2023 Delaware Climate Change Solutions Act, the Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control (DNREC)’s Division of Climate, Coastal, and Energy led the plan’s development. Since the 2021 Climate Action Plan, Delaware has continued to experience increased temperatures, sea-level rise, changing precipitation patterns, and extreme weather. A 2025 survey found that 55% of Delawareans had “personally experienced local impacts of climate change.”

Connecticut DEEP Climate Resilience Fund

Connecticut’s Department of Energy and Environment’s Climate Resilience Fund (DCRF) was initiated in 2023 to support community, infrastructure, and energy resilience projects. Government entities and others in the community can apply for funding to support infrastructure planning in the face of more severe weather events and a decline in federal funding.
