Alaska Administrative Order 238: Alaska Climate Change Sub-Cabinet (2007)

Signed by Governor Palin on September 14, 2007, this order established the Alaska Climate Change Sub-Cabinet to advise the Office of the Governor on the preparation and implementation of an Alaska Climate Change Strategy.

The order calls for the strategy to build the state's knowledge of the actual and foreseeable effects of climate warming, develop appropriate measures and policies to prepare communities in Alaska for climate change, and provide guidance regarding Alaska's participation in regional and national efforts addressing the causes and effects of climate change.
