Sabin Center for Climate Change Law Deregulation Tracker
The Columbia Law School Sabin Center for Climate Change Law offers an online “Deregulation Tracker” to monitor efforts undertaken by the Trump administration and Congress to scale back or eliminate federal climate mitigation and adaptation measures. The new tracker is linked to the Center’s Climate Regulation Tracker - a database of regulations and other efforts undertaken by federal agencies to address climate change.
The Deregulation Tracker also monitors congressional efforts to repeal statutory provisions, regulations, and guidance pertaining to climate change. In addition, the Center is tracking any countervailing efforts to advance climate change mitigation and adaptation in the face of these deregulatory actions.
The site will also provide links to related news items, such as updates about federal agency appointments, the removal of climate data from federal websites, and federal actions with indirect implications for climate change.
Users can choose to subscribe for daily or weekly tracker updates via email.
