USGCRP Federal Adaptation Resources website

In February 2014, the U.S. Global Change Research Program (USGCRP) launched a new website featuring an easy-to-access collection of resources to help Federal agencies with planning and implementation for climate change adaptation. Resources include relevant executive orders and strategic plans, technical reports on adaptation research, guidance and frameworks for adapting to climate change, and summary documents for decision-makers who need only an overview.

The resources collected on the website are designed in part to help agencies meet the requirements outlined in Executive Order 13653: Preparing the United States for the Impacts of Climate Change, and in the subsequent guidance provided by the Office of the Federal Environmental Executive, 'Preparing Federal Agency Climate Change Adaptation Plans in Accordance with Executive Order 13653.'

Links to the individual agency adaptation plans for FY 2013 are available on the homepage. Links to all other federal resources are provided by the themes outlined in the ‘FY 2013 Federal Agency Climate Change Adaptation Plans: Summary of Research and Information Needs’ report - including:

• Built Infrastructure
• Communication & Training
• Human Health
• Natural Resources
• Disaster Response
• Regional Climate Information & Modeling
• Observations & Monitoring
• Executive Orders & Policies
• Strategies, Reports, & Plans

If you have any trouble accessing the website link above, please find here an archived page. You may find this has limited use.
