Bay Area Regional Health Inequities Initiative (BARHII)
The Bay Area Regional Health Inequities Initiative (BARHII) is a coalition of eleven public health departments in the San Francisco Bay Area of California that work to incorporate principles of health equity into land use and transportation planning, and actively focuses on adaptation planning in Bay Area communities. The coalition includes public health departments in Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, Solano and Sonoma Counties, and the City of Berkley, California.

The California Climate and Agriculture Network (CalCAN) is a coalition that advances policy solutions at the nexus of climate change and sustainable agriculture. CalCAN is striving to be a voice for the positive contribution agriculture can make on climate protection and adaptation, and to assemble diverse expertise and stakeholders to advance specific state policy proposals.

California Climate Change Center (CCCC)
The California Energy Commission’s Public Interest Energy Research (PIER) Program established the California Climate Change Center (CCCC) in 2003 to document climate change research relevant to the state. The Center was the first state-funded climate change research program in the nation. Its goal was to enhance national and international studies, generating new information that can be used to shape California’s climate change policy. This center operated as a virtual organization with core research activities at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography and the University of California, San Diego, complemented by efforts at other research institutions.

Chicago Wilderness Alliance
Chicago Wilderness is a regional alliance that connects people and nature. There are more than 250 organizations involved that work together to restore local nature and improve the quality of life, by protecting the lands and waters of the region. Their four key initiatives are to restore the health of local nature, green infrastructure, combat climate change, and leave no child inside. The alliance is committed to using science and emerging knowledge, as well as a collaborative approach to conservation.

CIRMOUNT
The Consortium for Integrated Climate Research in Western Mountains (CIRMOUNT) is a collaborative and interdisciplinary research consortium dedicated to understanding climate variability and effects of climate on western North American mountain ecosystems and resources. Participation is open to all interested scientists and natural resource managers. CIRMOUNT seeks to improve knowledge of high-elevation climate systems and to integrate knowledge of mountain ecosystem response to climate change into natural-resource management and policy.

C40 Cities Climate Leadership Group (C40)
C40 is a global network of large cities taking action to address climate change by developing and implementing policies and programs that generate measurable reductions in both greenhouse gas emissions and climate risks. 2015 marks the 10-year anniversary of the C40 Cities Climate Leadership Group.

Chesapeake Bay Program's Scientific and Technical Advisory Committee (STAC)
The Scientific and Technical Advisory Committee (STAC) provides scientific and technical guidance to the Chesapeake Bay Program (CBP) on measures to restore and protect the Chesapeake Bay. Since its creation in December 1984, STAC has worked to enhance scientific communication and outreach throughout the Chesapeake Bay watershed and beyond. STAC provides scientific and technical advice in various ways, including: technical reports and papers, discussion groups, assistance in organizing merit reviews of CBP programs and projects, technical conferences and workshops, and service by STAC members on CBP subcommittees and workgroups.

Chesapeake Research Consortium (CRC)
The Chesapeake Research Consortium (CRC) is a non-profit corporation chartered by the State of Maryland. It is an association of six institutions, each with long-standing research on problems affecting the Chesapeake Bay and its watershed. The participating institutions are the Johns Hopkins University, University System of Maryland, Smithsonian Institution, Virginia Institute of Marine Science, Old Dominion University, and Pennsylvania State University.

California Climate Action Team (CAT)
CAT members work to coordinate statewide efforts to implement global warming emission reduction programs and California's Climate Adaptation Strategy. The CAT is comprised of 14 agencies, and is divided into 11 subgroups to assist the Air Board with their scoping plan.
