New Mexico Climate Center
The Office of the New Mexico State Climatologist is located in Las Cruces at the campus of New Mexico State University (NMSU). The State Climatologist directs the New Mexico Climate Center that is based in the Plant and Environmental Sciences Department. The Center maintains an archive of meteorological data collected throughout the state of New Mexico from many public and private networks. The Center operates a network of 18 automated surface weather stations throughout the state with two of them within walking distance from the NMSU campus.

New Mexico Climate Change Adaptation and Ecology Program - the Nature Conservancy
New Mexico was the first chapter of the Nature Conservancy to address ecological climate change adaptation by creating the Climate Change Ecology and Adaptation Program. This program provides land and water managers with information about climate change in New Mexico's past, present and future. The program focuses on assessing the impacts of climate change on the state's biodiversity and identifying local level adaptation strategies that can help build ecological resilience.

The New Jersey Climate Adaptation Alliance is a network of policymakers, public and private sector practitioners, academics, and NGO and business leaders designed to build climate change preparedness capacity in New Jersey. The Alliance is facilitated by Rutgers University.

New Jersey Sea Grant Consortium
The New Jersey Sea Grant Consortium (NJSGC) serves the state and the region by developing programs designed to resolve coastal issues, develop marine technology, formulate science-based policy, and improve science literacy among its citizens. Member Institutions of the NJSGC are colleges, universities and other groups with expertise in marine, coastal and/or estuarine science and an interest in New Jersey’s marine, coastal and/or estuarine affairs. Collectively the group works to advance knowledge and wise-utilization of New Jersey’s marine and coastal resources and make a positive impact on marine and coastal policy throughout the region.

New York City Panel on Climate Change (NPCC)
In response to climatic change and associated impacts to the city's infrastructure, and in order to support goals outlined in PlaNYC, the City’s comprehensive sustainability plan, Mayor Michael Bloomberg convened the New York City Panel on Climate Change (NPCC) in August 2008. The NPCC, which consists of leading climate change and impact scientists, academics, and private sector practitioners, was charged with advising the Mayor and the New York City Climate Change Adaptation Task Force on issues related to climate change and adaptation as it relates to infrastructure.

New York Sea Grant (NYSG) is a statewide network of integrated research, education, and extension services promoting the wise use and protection of marine and Great Lakes resources. NYSG is a cooperative program of the State University of New York (SUNY) and Cornell University, with administrative offices at Stony Brook University's School of Marine and Atmospheric Sciences, extension administration in Ithaca and extension staff in Riverhead, Stony Brook, New York City, Kingston, Oswego, Brockport and Buffalo.

New York City Mayor's Office of Recovery and Resiliency
The New York City Office of Recovery and Resiliency (ORR), part of the Mayor's Office, works with agencies, industry, and other stakeholders. It also works through partnerships to advance long-term plans for resilience and growth. This Office leads the City's efforts to implement recommendations laid out in A Stronger, More Resilient New York and One New York: The Plan for a Strong and Just City. The plan builds on the foundations of public collaboration and rigorous analysis. ORR will guide the City's work to: strengthen coastal defenses, upgrade buildings, protect infrastructure and critical services, and make homes, businesses, and neighborhoods safer and more vibrant.

The New York City Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) is a City agency of nearly 6,000 employees that manages and conserves the City's water supply; distributes more than one billion gallons of clean drinking water each day to nine million New Yorkers and collects wastewater through a vast underground network of pipes, regulators, and pumping stations; and treats the 1. 3 billion gallons of wastewater that New Yorkers produce each day in a way that protects the quality of New York Harbor.

New York City Environmental Justice Alliance (NYC-EJA)
Founded in 1991, the New York City Environmental Justice Alliance (NYC-EJA) is a non-profit, city-wide membership network linking grassroots organizations from low-income neighborhoods and communities of color in their struggle for environmental justice. NYC-EJA empowers its member organizations to advocate for improved environmental conditions and against inequitable environmental burdens by the coordination of campaigns designed to inform city and state policies. NYC-EJA is led by the community-based organizations that it serves, which coalesce around specific common issues that threaten the ability for low-income communities of color to thrive.

New Mexico Office of the State Engineer and Interstate Stream Commission
The NM Office of the State Engineer is charged with administering the state's water resources. The State Engineer has power over the supervision, measurement, appropriation, and distribution of all surface and groundwater in New Mexico, including streams and rivers that cross state boundaries. The State Engineer is also Secretary of the Interstate Stream Commission. The Interstate Stream Commission is charged with separate duties including protecting New Mexico's right to water under eight interstate stream basins, ensuring the state complies with each of those basins, as well as water planning.
