Community Water Center
Formed in 2006, the Community Water Center (CWC) is an organization in California’s Central Valley that works to combat water insecurity among frontline communities. Many residents of the Central Valley are from low income, predominantly Latinx communities that deal with water scarcity, groundwater contamination, or a lack of proper infrastructure. CWC provides technical and legal assistance for frontline communities, training residents as clean water advocates and helping to secure funding for sustainable drinking water projects.

Green Cities California (GCC) is a coalition of 13 local governments that have implemented groundbreaking environmental policies to accelerate the implementation of sustainability policies and programs through collaborative action. GCC recognizes that current global environmental challenges related to the over-consumption of natural resources, climate change, peak oil, availability of clean fresh water, food security, and environmental justice put California cities and residents at serious risk and require immediate action at all levels.

Connecticut Agricultural Experiment Station
The Connecticut Agricultural Experiment Station (CAES), the nation’s first research station of its kind, was founded in 1875 to leverage scientific knowledge related to environmental quality, plants, agricultural production, and human health for the good of society. The small separate state agency has a history of economically and scientifically important discoveries and currently conducts research at four facilities, which include laboratories and farms. CAES supports Connecticut's agricultural producers through education and research on climate impacts.

Consortium for Integrated Climate Research in Western Mountains (CIRMOUNT)
The Consortium for Integrated Climate Research in Western Mountains (CIRMOUNT) is a collaborative, interdisciplinary consortium dedicated to understanding climates and ecosystems of western North American mountains. CIRMOUNT's goal is to bring together researchers from diverse disciplines and institutions to monitor and understand climate-driven changes in the western mountains, and to respond to the needs and challenges of western society for mountain resources imposed by climate change.

Consortium on Climate Risk in the Urban Northeast (CCRUN) - RISA
CCRUN is a member of NOAA's Regional Integrated Sciences and Assessments (RISA) program, which supports climate research for decision-makers and policy planners at a regional level. The consortium, encompassing the Boston-to-Philadelphia corridor; serving stakeholder needs in assessing and managing risks from climate variability and change. The RISA is structured as a nodal network covering the relevant parts of Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania in order to serve local needs for targeted climate-risk information in a coordinated way, with partners from Columbia University, City College of the City University of New York, Stevens Institute of Technology, the University of Massachusetts, and Drexel University.
