Texas Sea Grant

Teaming with Wildlife is a coalition of more than 6,300 organizations, including state fish & wildlife agencies, wildlife biologists, hunters, anglers, birdwatchers, hikers, nature-based businesses and other conservationists, who support the goal of restoring and conserving U. S. wildlife; preventing wildlife from becoming endangered. A national steering committee of thirteen conservation organizations provides national leadership for the Teaming with Wildlife initiative, setting national strategy and supporting the activities of state coalitions.

The Rising Voices Center for Indigenous and Earth Sciences

The USGS operates the most extensive satellite network of stream-gaging stations in the state, many of which form the backbone of flood-warning systems.
