Digital Coast
The Digital Coast is a collaborative effort of organizations committed to providing data and information, tools, and training resources to help address timely coastal issues - including land use, coastal conservation, hazards, marine spatial planning, and climate change. NOAA's Coastal Services Center is maintaining the Digital Coast website which provides access to all the resources being developed and contributed by academic institutions, public and private sector entities. This curated collection of coastal and ocean data and tools are directed at decision makers, practitioners, and technicians.

Great Lakes Adaptation Assessment for Cities (GLAA-C)
2011
Conducted from 2011-2014, the Great Lakes Adaptation Assessment for Cities (GLAA-C) was an Integrated Assessment project supported by the University of Michigan Graham Sustainability Institute, the Kresge Foundation, and in collaboration with Great Lakes Integrated Sciences + Assessments (GLISA). The GLAA-C program was designed to work with cities throughout the Great Lakes region to better understand municipal level climate change impacts. The project also helped develop and implement a variety of adaptation measures throughout the region.

Climate Change Tree Atlas

The Climate Change Tree Atlas helps determine current and future suitable habitat and distribution of 134 tree species in the Eastern United States based on current climate and projected suitable habitat for the year 2100. The Atlas provides detailed information on environmental characteristics defining these distributions for each species, and can be used to develop large-scale projections of species responses to climate change. By taking current distributions of tree habitat in the U. S.

Application of Ecological and Economic Models of the Impacts of Sea-Level Rise to the Delaware Estuary
June 2010
This report, produced for the Partnership for the Delaware Estuary, describes a new method of climate adaptation planning that draws from the assessment of natural resource damages associated with oil spills and other episodic events. The proposed framework combines the wetland change modeling in SLAMM (Sea Level Affecting Marshes Model) with traditional damage assessment methods using habitat equivalency analysis (HEA). By combining a marsh migration model with a habitat equivalency model, the framework was developed for identifying and valuing the cost of efforts to address potential changes in wetlands habitats.

Climate Change and the Delaware Estuary: Three Case Studies in Vulnerability Assessment and Adaptation Planning

This report summarizes the major changes expected in the Delaware Estuary due to climate change as well as the threats to three key resources: tidal wetlands, drinking water and bivalve shellfish. These three resources served as case studies representative of the Estuary's habitats, human/water interaction, and living resources respectively, allowing investigation of climate change impacts and potential adaptation strategies in the Estuary.

City of Philadelphia Cool Roof Law and Building Code
May 2010
In May 2010, Mayor Nutter of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania approved legislation requiring all new construction in the city to use highly reflective roofing materials that meet or exceed Energy Star cool roof standards. The Cool Roof Law is a first step toward Philadelphia's anticipated adoption of green building standards.

Weathering Climate Change: Framing Strategies to Minimize Impacts on Pennsylvania Ecosystems and Wildlife

As an initial effort to inform Pennsylvania’s climate adaptation planning process, the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission, the Pennsylvania Game Commission and The Nature Conservancy interviewed stakeholders from state and federal natural resource management agencies, research institutions, and environmental non-profit organizations.
