America's Climate Choices
The Department of Commerce Appropriations Act of 2008 (Public Law 110-161) calls for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) to execute an agreement with the National Academy of Sciences to establish a committee on global climate change.
In response to this request from Congress, the National Academies launched America's Climate Choices, a suite of coordinated activities that will examine the issues associated with global climate change, including the science and technology challenges involved, and provide advice on actions and strategies the nation can take to respond.
