The Resource Innovation Group
The Resource Innovation Group (TRIG) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization affiliated with the Center for Sustainable Communities at Willamette University. TRIG’s mission is to foster the development and application of innovative thinking and approaches to complex social-ecological problems, including global climate change. TRIG's approach combines systems thinking with the physical and social sciences, social equity, and change management. They organize, facilitate and work through partnerships with academic institutions, non-profits, private firms, and all levels of government. TRIG staff offer a number of different presentations, including keynotes, workshops, and webinars.
TRIG's Social Capital Project completed new research on trends in public opinion regarding climate change and how they have changed over time in the recently released report, 'American Climate Attitudes'. The new information will help climate practitioners better communicate with the public about projected impacts and how to prepare for or adapt to those impacts.
