Preparing Oregon's Fish, Wildlife, and Habitats for Future Climate Change: A Guide for State Adaptation Efforts
Prepared by the Oregon Global Warming Commission's Fish and Wildlife Adaptation Subcommittee, this report outlines actions needed to better prepare natural systems in the state for climate change, with a specific focus on the management of fish and wildlife populations and their habitats. It reviews the state of knowledge about climate change relating to fish and wildlife populations, and it provides policy recommendations and research priorities for building a state fish and wildlife adaptation strategy. Recommendations fall under three broad categories: adaptation funding needs, policy development, and institutional solutions.
