Hawaii Conservation Alliance
The mission of the Hawai'i Conservation Alliance (HCA) is to provide unified leadership and advocacy on conservation issues critical to Hawai'i. Their purpose is to work together to continue a legacy of stewardship and to achieve the goal of promoting the preservation of native terrestrial and marine ecosystems, increasing the diversity of native species, and ensuring that the unique biodiversity of the islands is maintained into the future.

Hawaii Sea Grant
The University of Hawaiʻi Sea Grant College Program (UH Sea Grant), founded in 1968, promotes better understanding, conservation, and use of coastal resources. UH Sea Grant works in partnership with the University of Hawaiʻi’s School of Ocean and Earth Science and Technology and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) to identify Hawaiʻi’s critical resource management issues and guide scientific research to address these challenges.

Hawaii State Climate Office
The Hawaii State Climate Office (HSCO) was established in 2000, and is located at the University of Hawaii at Manoa in the Department of Meteorology. The HSCO provides monthly data summaries of the monthly weather report, precipitation, temperature, heating/cooling degree days, the number of days above 80/90 degrees F, and summaries for the four main cities in Hawaii. Specific historical data can also be requested from the website.

The Gulf Coast Center for Law and Policy (GCCLP) is a non-profit public interest law firm and justice center focusing equity and justice in the Gulf South states (Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, and Texas). GCCLP provides trainings, programs, and services focusing on climate justice, migrants rights, land sovereignty, and economic opportunity for those communities that are on the frontlines of climate change.

Gulf of Mexico Alliance
The Gulf of Mexico Alliance is a partnership of the states of Alabama, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas, with the goal of significantly increasing regional collaboration to enhance the ecological and economic health of the Gulf of Mexico. The Alliance has identified six priority issues including water quality, habitat conservation and restoration, ecosystem integration and assessment, nutrients and nutrient impacts, coastal community resilience, and environmental education.

Founded on the Land Grant concept, Sea Grant programs are university-based institutions utilizing research, outreach and education to foster understanding, wise use and stewardship of coastal and marine resources. The Region comprises Sea Grant Programs in the five states bordering The Gulf of Mexico including Florida, Lousiana, Mississippi-Alabama, and Texas.

Center for Science in the Earth System (CSES)
The Center for Science in the Earth System (CSES) conducts integrated research on the impacts of climate variability and change on the U. S. Pacific Northwest. CSES combines and integrates expertise in climate dynamics, ecological dynamics, hydrologic dynamics, and institutional and policy analysis for the study of Pacific Northwest climate dynamics and impacts. CSES also researches methodologies for accomplishing climate research, and researches applications of climate information in regional decision-making processes in support of the regional aspects of an eventual Climate Service.

The Center for Transportation and the Environment (CTE) conducts programs to mitigate the impacts of surface transportation on the environment, through research, education, and technology. CTE is a project of the University Transportation Centers Program, administered by the Research and Innovative Technology Administration of the U. S. Department of Transportation. CTE's Climate Change Initiative has conducted adaptation research such as the "Impacts of Climate Change on Transportation Infrastructure Design.

Illinois-Indiana Sea Grant
The Illinois-Indiana Sea Grant (IISG) provides research, education and outreach to coastal communities to help secure healthy coastal environments and economies. IISG brings together scientists, educators, policy makers, community decision makers, outreach specialists, business leaders, and the general public to focus on coastal issues in the southern Lake Michigan region - 104 miles of heavily urbanized and industrialized shoreline in Illinois and Indiana. IISG's program addresses critical issues including aquaculture, aquatic invasive species, climate change, coastal restoration, fish consumption, great lakes health, land use planning, pharmaceuticals, water quality, and water supply.

"Our Climate. Our Future. Our Revolution. " The iMatter motto says it all. This non-profit youth movement for climate activism is in fact revolutionary. iMatter was born from the creative activism of Alec Loorz and his mother Victoria Loorz in 2009. Alec Loorz started 'Kids vs. Global Warmng' when he was 12 years old because he felt called to do something to stop global warming. He realized that the youth have the moral authority to demand change. As a response to the growing interest of multitudes of youth wanting to get involved in Alec's work to stand up for their future facing climate change, the now iMatter team began to strategize how to provide platforms and opportunities for the youth voice to be heard on the crisis that affects them most.
