Indiana State Climate Office
The Indiana State Climate Office (Iclimate) is the state archive of official daily and hourly weather observations recorded throughout Indiana from both manual and automated networks. Older observations are being converted to an online database as part of an ongoing national effort. Iclimate not only assists in providing climate observations and summaries but also interprets and applies this data to solve climate related problems at hand. Primary users of Climate data belong to sectors such as agriculture, attorneys, construction, environmental monitoring, forensics, government insurance, news media, research, education and utilities.

High Plains Regional Climate Center
The High Plains Regional Climate Center is one of six regional climate centers in the U. S. managed by NOAA's National Climatic Data Center (NCDC). The mission of NOAA's High Plains Regional Climate Center (HPRCC) is to increase the use and availability of climate data in the High Plains region. HPRCC personnel work closely with scientists from other regional and federal climate centers on climate services and programs and provide a regional structure for climate applications. The long-term objectives of the HPRCC are to carry out applied climate studies, develop improved climate information products, and provide climate services in the High Plains region.

Inland Southern California Climate Collaborative (ISC3) is a diverse, cross-sectoral network of agencies, organizations, companies, and institutions working together to advance equitable solutions to create a resilient and thriving Inland Southern California in the face of climate change. The collaborative mobilizes member organizations around a shared vision and policy agenda while providing local capacity-building support to catalyze equitable action at all scales. ISC3 strives to bolster local and regional efforts to build resilience to the climate change impacts inland southern California communities face, primarily Heat, Drought and Wildfire.

Institute for Coastal Science and Policy (East Carolina University)
The Institute for Coastal Science and Policy (ICSP) works to understand North Carolina coastal systems so that the problems and opportunities associated with them can be addressed. Research in the Institute concentrates on four main areas and their interrelationships including coastal ecology, coastal geoscience, social science, and public policy. One objective of the Institute is to develop methodological approaches and theoretical perspectives that advance the understanding of the coastal environment and human systems, drawing on emerging technologies and conceptual tools such as systems and network theory, geographic information sciences, and computer-based modeling.

The Institute for Social and Environmental Transition-International (ISET-International) collaborates with local partners to build resilience and catalyze adaptation to social and environmental change. ISET-International particularly focuses on strategies that address the fundamental challenges confronted by marginalized populations and those who lack the resources to adapt. ISET-International brings together theoretical and scientific insights with social engagement, local knowledge, and shared learning to identify practical strategies at the local level and to foster the growth of applied knowledge.

Illinois State Climatologist Office
The Illinois state climatologist promotes the use of climate information in areas crucial for the economic and environmental benefit of Illinois by disseminating climate information, monitoring climate events, conducting applied research, making presentations to community organizations, and talking to individuals and the media. The Illinois state climatologist has extensive records of climate data for the state, including daily temperature, precipitation, and snowfall data for nearly 400 sites, of which 200 are currently active.

International Alliance to Combat Ocean Acidification
State, local and tribal governments of the U.S. and Canada along with Chile, Nigeria and France, have formed the International Alliance to Combat Ocean Acidification. Along with advancing the science of ocean acidification and working to reduce the cause and severity of this climate change impact, the Alliance will work in support of inclusion of ocean health and ocean acidification mitigation, adaptation and resiliency strategies in international climate agreements.
