Australia's State of Victoria Climate Change Adaptation Plan defines Victoria's climate change action priorities for 2017-2020. The cities of Eugene and Springfield, Oregon have updated the Multi-jurisdictional Natural Hazards Mitigation Plan (NHMP) to address earthquakes, flood, landslides, volcanic or seismic activity, wildfire, and winter storms. National Park Service Coastal Adaptation Strategies Handbook

The National Park Service (NPS) has developed the Coastal Adaptation Strategies Handbook to support coastal area park responses to the climate change effects associated with coastal storms and sea level rise. This handbook reviews climate change impacts on coastal parks; identifies useful resources and adaptation strategies; provides examples of approaches to address coastal vulnerabilities from NPS as an agency and for individual parks, and offers policy and decision-making guidelines. The report provides guidance for NPS managers, partners, and other practitioners in selecting and implementing climate change adaptation strategies in estuarine and coastal areas, including the Great Lakes.

USDA Adaptation Resources for Agriculture: Responding to Climate Variability and Change in the Midwest and Northeast

The report summarizes the effects of climate change on agriculture and natural resources in the Midwest and Northeast U. S. and overviews strategic options for climate adaptation in agriculture. The USDA provides new resources to bring climate change planning to the farm - including adaptation strategies and approaches, an adaptation workbook, and examples for assessing and planning.

FTA Transit Asset Management Guide
November 2016
The Federal Transit Administration's guide provides a framework for transit-specific asset management, and includes a section on climate change adaptation. State departments of transportation, metropolitan planning organizations, and transit providers are now required to develop asset management plans to comply with regulations that were finalized by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and FTA in 2016. Although FTA's final rule does not require transit providers to conduct formal climate resiliency analysis in investment prioritization processes, FTA recommends that transit providers have an understanding of and consider risks posed by climate change and extreme weather events.
