U.S. Climate Action Network (USCAN)
The U. S. Climate Action Network (USCAN) is a network of organizations active in climate change work. Its mission is to support and strengthen US-based civil society organizations’ influence on the development and implementation of local, national, and international climate policy and action. Founded in 1989, USCAN fosters and facilitates collaborative efforts to share information, coordinate activities, and develop strategies across diverse organizations and constituencies. USCAN members are united by their common goals to reduce US greenhouse gas emissions, to increase climate resiliency, to inspire the United States’ positive leadership in international forums to secure equitable, effective climate policies and to support on-the-ground implementation of climate solutions.

U.S. Global Change Research Program (USGCRP)
The U.S. Global Change Research Program (USGCRP) is mandated by the Global Change Research Act of 1990, and was known as the U.S. Climate Change Science Program from 2002 through 2008. The program is steered by the Subcommittee on Global Change Research under the Committee on Environment and Natural Resources, overseen by the Executive Office of the President, and facilitated by an Integration and Coordination Office.

U.S. Forest Service Eastern Forest Environmental Threat Assessment Center
The mission of the Eastern Forest Environmental Threat Assessment Center (EFETAC) is an interdisciplinary resource that is actively developing new technology and tools to anticipate and respond to emerging eastern forest threats. EFETAC researchers work with other scientists nationally as well as with a variety of Federal, State, and local government agencies, universities, and non-governmental partners to address forest threats. EFETAC has many projects and collaborations related to climate change which can be accessed on their website.

U.S. Forest Service Western Wildland Environmental Threat Assessment Center (WWETAC)
The Western Wildland Environmental Threat Assessment Center (WWETAC) is a unit of the Pacific Northwest Research Station. The Center was created to predict, detect, and assess existing and potential environmental threats to western wildlands. Information will be developed and shared about forest impacts such as invasive plants, potential insect outbreaks, the appearance of invasive insect threats, the appearance of new pathogens (such as sudden oak death), and other threats. There are many WWETAC climate change related research projects, impact assessments, modeling tools, short courses, as well as affiliated workshops available on their website.
