The USGS Massachusetts Water Science Center monitors and analyzes surface-water, groundwater, water-quality and biological parameters throughout the state, and provides current real time data on ground water, streamflow, precipitation, and water quality from sites throughout Massachusetts. The Environmental Resilience Institute Toolkit (ERIT) is a publicly-accessible online tool designed primarily for communities of Indiana and midwestern states to assess, prepare for, and respond to “environmental change. ” ERIT has a special emphasis on Midwestern communities but includes resources for small to mid-sized communities in both rural and urban areas across the U. S. The toolkit includes case studies, adaptation strategies, adaptation planning tools, and potential funding sources.

Adaptation Pathways 1.0: A Guide for Navigating Sea-Level Rise in the Built Environment

This report summarizes a May 2016 Sea-Level Rise Summit organized by the Florida Center for Environmental Studies at Florida Atlantic University. The goal of the Summit was to produce a first generation roadmap for adaptation, by translating knowledge and ideas into action. The resulting "Adaptation Pathways" - found in Section III of this report - synthesize the Summit’s dominant themes into sea-level rise resilience strategies.
