Space Coast Climate Change Initiative
The Space Coast Climate Change Initiative (SCCCI) was established in 2007 to assist local governments in the implementation of adaptive management plans to address global climate change and the impacts on Florida's coastal communities. The SCCCI's mission is to facilitate the exchange of ideas between experts, policy-makers, and the general public in the pursuit of strategies to mitigate and adapt to the local consequences of sea-level rise. The SCCCI is initially promoting assessments of municipal vulnerability and adaptive management of the built and natural environment as the best means to establish resilience to sea-level rise.

U.S. Forest Service Eastern Forest Environmental Threat Assessment Center
The mission of the Eastern Forest Environmental Threat Assessment Center (EFETAC) is an interdisciplinary resource that is actively developing new technology and tools to anticipate and respond to emerging eastern forest threats. EFETAC researchers work with other scientists nationally as well as with a variety of Federal, State, and local government agencies, universities, and non-governmental partners to address forest threats. EFETAC has many projects and collaborations related to climate change which can be accessed on their website.

East Central Florida Regional Resilience Collaborative
The East Central Florida Regional Resilience Collaborative, formalized on May 15, 2019, is an intergovernmental network built around three key aspects of resilience: health and equity, built infrastructure and natural environment, and economic resilience. The Collaborative aims to reduce the region’s carbon footprint, lower the risks and vulnerabilities utilizing emergency management, and increase efforts towards sustainability on a regional scale.
Resource
NOAA Sea Level Rise Viewer
Hosted by the NOAA Coastal Services Center's Digital Coast, this online mapping tool allows users to observe the effects of sea level rise on U.S. coasts. Being able to visualize potential impacts from sea level rise can be a powerful teaching and planning tool, and the Sea Level Rise Viewer brings this capability to coastal communities.
