AgroClimate is an interactive website developed by the Southeast Climate Consortium (SECC) for use by farmers, ranchers, foresters, water resource managers, and those who advise them. The site uses crop simulation models and historic and forecast climate data to allow decision makers to compare changes in probable outcomes under different climate conditions.

National Assessment of Coastal Vulnerability to Sea-Level Rise: Preliminary Results for the Atlantic Coast
1999
One of three national assessments of U. S. coastal regions conducted in the late 1990's, this assessment focused on the Atlantic coastline, while the other two focused on the Gulf Coast and Pacific coastlines. The overall goal of these studies was to identify those portions of the U. S. coastal regions at risk and the nature of that risk (e. g. , inundation, erosion, etc. ). The long-term goal of this study is to predict future coastal changes with a degree of certainty useful for coastal management, following an approach similar to that used to map national seismic and volcanic hazards.

LCCs are management-science partnerships that inform integrated resource-management actions addressing climate change and other stressors within and across landscapes, linking science and conservation. The currently participating bureaus are the National Park Service, Office of Surface Mining, and the U. S. Fish and Wildlife Service.

Georgia Sea Grant
Georgia Sea Grant combines research, education, and outreach projects that promote the economic, cultural and and environmental health of Georgia’s coast and encourages citizens throughout the state to become good stewards of coastal and watershed resources. Over half of Georgia Sea Grant's funds go directly into scientific research on Georgia's coastal resources. Specific thematic areas include water quality, coastal ecosystem health, and fisheries technology.

Georgia State Climatology Office
The Georgia State Climatology Office is housed in the University of Georgia, within the Biological and Agricultural Engineering Department (BAE). The purpose of the State Climatology Office is to provide climate information to all interested users of historic or long-term weather data, to monitor current climate conditions around the state, and to conduct research into topics related to Georgia's weather and climate. The Office provides outreach and service to private citizens, the media, educators, scientists, businesses, and government agencies throughout the state.

USFS Southern Research Station
The Southern Research Station of the U. S. Forest Service (USFS) serves 13 southern states. The station has conducted studies on temperate and tropical forests, forest resources, and forest products. These studies provide a wealth of long-term datasets and conclusions on the dynamics of tree plantations and natural stands, watersheds, and wildlife habitats. Research work units of the SRS, such as the Eastern Forest Environmental Threat Assessment Center, have ongoing climate change related studies and publications.

The USGS Georgia Water Science Center provides current real-time data on streamflow, water-quality, groundwater, precipitation, and lakes and reservoirs levels throughout from sites throughout Georgia. The center has historical data on Georgia's streamflow, ground water, water quality, and other historical information. The center also has numerous publications, data sheets, projects, and scientific reports on a range of hydrological topics.
