Point Blue Conservation Science (PRBO)
Point Blue Conservation Science (formerly Point Reyes Bird Observatory or PRBO) is a non-profit organization founded in 1965 as Point Reyes Bird Observatory. Point Blue is dedicated to conserving birds, other wildlife and ecosystems through innovative scientific research and outreach. They research bird ecology, creates management tools, lead field science training programs, and develop and deliver bird science education programs to advance biodiversity conservation.
Point Blue's 120 scientists work with habitat and wildlife management agencies, NGOs, private interests, academics, and policymakers to reduce the negative impacts of climate and land use changes on natural systems.
