TRB Research In Progress (RiP) Database

The Transportation Research Board's (TRB) Research In Progress (RiP) Database and data-entry system allows users in the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT), state DOTs, University Transportation Centers (UTCs) and other USDOT-funded universities to add, modify, and delete information on their current research projects. To see a list of climate change (both mitigation and adaptation) related research, enter "climate change" in the Keyword field. Project descriptions provide contact information for research team members. Most of the relevant results are impact studies to specific modal assets or state transportation systems (e.g. Arizona, Florida, New York). If the research project is complete, the final report is available.

The RiP database now contains over 8400 current or recently completed transportation research projects. The database now includes international research projects from the TRIP file of the International Transport Research Documentation Database, as well as projects from the Canadian Surface Transportation Research Database.
