Vermont State Climate Office
The Vermont State Climate Office is housed within the Department of Geography at the University of Vermont, and is Vermont's AASC Recognized State Climate Office (ARSCO). The State Climate Office web page contains many links to the NCDC database of climate and weather records for Vermont, and acts as a gateway to learn about atmospheric processes and ways of reducing vulnerabilty to climate hazards in an ever-changing climate system.

Michigan Sea Grant
The Michigan Sea Grant is a cooperative program of University of Michigan and Michigan State University. Through research, education and outreach, the program is dedicated to the protection and sustainable use of the Great Lakes and coastal resources with six extension educators located in coastal communities around the state. In 2009 the Governors of New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, and Virginia in 2009 signed the Mid-Atlantic Governors’ Agreement on Ocean Conservation. The Agreement established the Mid-Atlantic Regional Council on the Ocean (MARCO) as a partnership to address shared regional priorities and provide a collective voice on region-wide coastal issues and advancement.
