Climate Change Health Preparedness in Oregon

This report describes the findings of a survey of Oregon public health workers regarding their current knowledge of, level of preparation for, and the resources and training they believe are needed to respond to the health risks associated with climate change. The report describes the present and future public health consequences of climate change, provides an analysis of surveys given to county public health departments in Oregon, and makes recommendations to improve the understanding and preparedness of public health workers for addressing the public health impacts of climate change.
