Climate Readiness Institute
The Climate Readiness Institute (CRI) was founded at the University of California, Berkeley, in partnership with the University of California, Davis, Stanford University, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, the Bay Area Joint Policy Committee, and climate leaders from the San Francisco Bay Area government, non-profits and the private sector. The mission of the Climate Readiness Institute is to "develop 21st century climate adaptation solutions to build the Bay Area’s capacity for action, and create knowledge to inform and inspire cities worldwide.

The Climate Justice Alliance (CJA) is a collaborative of more than 35 community-based and movement support organizations uniting frontline communities to forge a scalable and socio-economically just transition away from an extractive economy towards local living economies to address the root causes of climate change. CJA is rooted in Indigenous, African American, Latino, Asian Pacific Islander, and working-class white communities throughout the US. CJA seeks to strengthen relationships between community-based organizations, environmentalists, labor unions, food sovereignty/sustainable agriculture groups, and other sectors of society.

North American Bird Conservation Initiative, U.S. Committee (NABCI)
The U. S. North American Bird Conservation Initiative (NABCI) is a forum of government agencies, private organizations, and bird initiatives helping federal, state, and nongovernmental organizations across the continent to meet their common bird conservation objectives. NABCI fosters collaboration on key issues of concern, including bird monitoring, conservation design, private lands, international objectives, and state and federal agency support for integrated bird conservation. NABCI's goal is to deliver the full spectrum of bird conservation through regionally based, biologically driven, landscape-oriented partnerships - to secure the future for North America's more than 1,150 species of birds.

The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) is a public benefit corporation created in 1975 under Article 8, Title 9 of the State Public Authorities Law through the reconstitution of the New York State Atomic and Space Development Authority. NYSERDA’s earliest efforts focused solely on research and development with the goal of reducing the State’s petroleum consumption. Today, NYSERDA’s aim is to help New York meet its energy goals: reducing energy consumption, promoting the use of renewable energy sources, and protecting the environment.

North Pacific Fisheries Management Council
The North Pacific Fishery Management Council (NPFMC) is one of eight regional councils established by the Magnuson Fishery Conservation and Management Act in 1976 (which has been renamed the Magnuson-Stevens Fishery Conservation and Management Act) to oversee management of the nation's fisheries. With jurisdiction over the 900,000 square mile Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) off Alaska, the Council has primary responsibility for groundfish management in the Gulf of Alaska (GOA) and Bering Sea and Aleutian Islands (BSAI), including cod, pollock, flatfish, mackerel, sablefish, and rockfish species harvested mainly by trawlers, hook and line longliners and pot fishermen.

Northeast Climate Adaptation Science Center
The Northeast Climate Adaptation Science Center is one of nine regional Climate Adaptation Science Centers (CASCs) under the Department of the Interior (DOI) managed by the U. S. Geological Survey's (USGS) National Climate Adaptation Science Center. CASCs were established under Secretarial Order No. 3289, which called for an expansion of the scope and geographic reach of the DOI's climate-science efforts. CASCs provide scientific information, tools and techniques that land, water, wildlife and cultural resource managers and other interested parties can apply to anticipate, monitor and adapt to climate and ecologically-driven responses at regional-to-local scales.

The Climate Science Alliance - South Coast is a partnership of organizations and agencies focused on sharing ecosystem-based resiliency approaches to safeguard communities and natural resources from climate change risks in Southern California. The Alliance brings partners together to share scientific information and other resources to achieve actionable results for coping with climate change. The Alliance’s projects encompass the entire south-coast ecoregion of southern California from Santa Barbara through Baja California, Mexico.
