Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA)

FEMA's mission is to support U.S. citizens and first responders to ensure that as a nation we work together to build, sustain, and improve our capability to prepare for, protect against, respond to, recover from, and mitigate all hazards, including hurricanes, earthquakes, tornados, floods, fires or a hazardous spill, an act of nature or an act of terrorism. Drought Portal, which is part of an interactive system to provide early warning about anticipated droughts, impact and risk assessments, planning tools, and drought historical data.
