Puerto Rico’s State of the Climate report is a comprehensive climate change vulnerability assessment for Puerto Rico as of 2013. It is comprised of three individual assessment reports focused on climate change impacts to Geophysical and Chemical Science, Ecology and Biodiversity, and the Economy and Society of the island territory. The overall assessment concludes that the coastal communities of Puerto Rico, critical infrastructure, economic development, tourism, natural resources and biodiversity, and cultural and historic resources are all vulnerable to climate change.

The Critical Linkages Project identifies landscape-level connections between wildlands that are crucial to maintaining habitat connectivity, ecological processes, and species’ population survival in three ecoregions surrounding California’s San Francisco Bay Area. Considered by some to be the most important climate change adaptation strategy for wildlife conservation, strategically conserving and restoring connectivity between natural landscapes is the ultimate goal of this project. 14 landscape-level linkages were developed based on priority fish and mammal species, while the linkage network serves each of 66 selected focal species - including mammals, amphibians, reptiles, fish, birds, invertebrates, and plants - covering a broad range of habitat and movement requirements.

Developed for the Navajo Nation Department of Fish and Wildlife (NNDFW), this assessment explores potential climate change impacts in the southwest region of the United States, and the vulnerability of priority wildlife species that were identified by the Navajo for their cultural or ecological value. The NNDFW is the official wildlife management agency of the Navajo Nation, which covers roughly 27,000 square miles across Arizona, Utah and New Mexico.

This report synthesizes regional studies on the implications of climate change on Bureau of Reclamation operations and activities in 17 Western States. Specifically, the report addresses past and projected effects of climate change on hydrology and water resources. The report outlines implications for the key resource areas the Bureau considers in its planning processes for each of the Bureau's five regions: Pacific Northwest, Mid-Pacific, Lower Colorado, Upper Colorado, and Great Plains.

The Delta Stewardship Council was required by the 2009 Delta Reform Act to adopt and implement a comprehensive management plan for California’s Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta by January 1, 2012. The Plan was developed to guide state and local agencies to help achieve the coequal goals of providing a more reliable water supply for California and protecting, restoring, and enhancing the Delta ecosystem. The Delta Plan became effective with legally-enforceable regulations on September 1, 2013. The Delta Plan lays out 14 regulatory policies and 73 recommendations that start the process of addressing the current and predicted ecological, flood management, water quality, and water supply reliability challenges.

The purpose of this project and report is to help the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and its partners to address climate change impacts in the Chesapeake Bay, focusing on how to integrate climate change into coastal restoration and conservation activities. To do this, the National Wildlife Federation (NWF) worked with NOAA, a panel, and technical experts to identify climate change impacts for the Middle Patuxent sub-watershed and developed options for adapting restoration and conservation practices to address those impacts.

Shifting Skies: Migratory Birds in a Warming World details how a warming climate could lead to a decline in some bird populations and even some extinction if action is not taken to curb GHG emissions and adopt “climate-smart” conservation strategies. Recommendations are provided on how to address climate impacts on wildlife by reducing carbon pollution, and for safeguarding species from the current and future impacts of climate change.

This study, conducted by the Washington Wildlife Habitat Connectivity Working Group, analyzed the usefulness of downscaled temperature and precipitation projections for informing habitat connectivity conservation planning. The goal of the study was to determine whether downscaled climate projections could help identify habitat corridors that are most resilient to climate change and should be prioritized for conservation investment decisions.

This report from the Vermont Agency of Natural Resources (ANR) addresses climate change impacts on four natural resource sectors including wildlife, fisheries, forestry, and water resources. After detailing climate impacts on each sector, a strategic climate adaptation framework is proposed for continued climate change vulnerability assessment and action planning.
