The Northwest Climate Toolbox
The Northwest Climate Toolbox provides free online access to historic, current and future projections of weather and climate data tools, with an emphasis on the Pacific Northwest. Designed to aid decision-makers in agriculture, water resources and fire management, the tools transform raw climatological, meteorological and hydrological information into visualizations for climate adaptation planning. There are currently 17 tools available, most with data for the entire U. S. , some focused specifically on locations in the western and northwestern U.

Azavea Climate Lab and API
2018
Azavea’s climate change analysis tool is designed to help local decision-makers adapt with standardized, localized and accessible climate data. The application supports interactive climate impact modeling, and is scaled to cities nationwide. The Climate API provides access to historic and projected (1950-2100) low temperature, high temperature and precipitation data - with 22 climate indicators for over 1,000 U. S. locations. The Lab features downloadable charts for inclusion in presentations and briefs, as well as direct downloads for the data and reproducible API calls for users looking to incorporate these data into other applications.

PREPdata - Partnership for Resilience and Preparedness climate datasets
2018
PREPdata (at www.prepdata.org) is an open-source, map-based platform designed to support climate adaptation decision-makers in visualizing a region’s vulnerability or resiliency to climate change through localized climate, physical, and socioeconomic datasets. The Partnership for Resilience and Preparedness (PREP), co-led by World Resources Institute and Future Earth, developed the tool.

Sea-Level Report Cards: Trends, projections, and processes to aid coastal planning

This tool is created and maintained by the College of William and Mary’s Virginia Institute of Marine Science (VIMS) and provides annual sea-level rise projections and trends for 32 localities across the nation where the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) maintains tidal gauges. The report cards are novel in that sea-level rise projections are presented on a local scale and expected to be updated annually (in January) as tidal gauge data becomes available. In comparison, similar data sets are often on a global scale and released after longer time spans.

Patterns and Projections of High Tide Flooding Along the U.S. Coastline Using a Common Impact Threshold

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) analyzes "high tide flooding" (also known as "nuisance flooding") in this report, and finds that it is becoming more commonplace due to sea level rise. High tide flooding impacts roads, beaches, parks, and private property, and is generally more disruptive than damaging. However, there are places such as Norfolk, Virginia; San Diego, California; and the U. S Marshall islands where it is currently a serious problem. Even more, with continued sea level rise, flooding is likely to increase.

CalBRACE Adaptation Toolkit
The CalBRACE Adaptation Toolkit was developed by the California Department of Public Health Office of Health Equity as part of the California Building Resilience for Climate Effects (CalBRACE) project. This database is a collection of tools, reports, guides, and data to help local health departments assess, plan, and monitor in their efforts to reduce and prevent the health risks of climate change. This toolkit is designed for California, but can serve as a useful guide to health departments elsewhere.

EDGe$ - Economic Decision Guide Software Tool

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) EDGe$ (Economic Decision Guide Software) Tool is a software application for community resilience planning. EDGe$ provides a methodology for evaluating investment decisions for adaptation, resilience and recovery from disruptive events or disasters. The tool is focused on supporting the planning process around the implementation of resilient, economically viable infrastructure in communities. by identifying the cost of investing in resilience, and the benefits of new community level capital investments.

Resilience Roadmap - A Collaborative Approach to Multi-Jurisdictional Planning
From the U.S. Department of Energy’s National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL), the Resilience Roadmap is an online tool offering guidance on the step-by-step process of multi-jurisdictional resiliency planning for critical infrastructure. Institute for Tribal Environmental Professionals Adaptation Planning Toolkit
Developed by the Institute for Tribal Environmental Professionals (ITEP), this Toolkit offers resources and templates to support tribes in climate adaptation planning. In an introductory document, ITEP provides an overview of adaptation planning fundamentals including guiding principles, frameworks, assessment basics, and strategy development. The Toolkit includes templates created by ITEP for tribes to develop adaptation guidance, policy resolutions, and an adaptation plan. Primary adaptation resources and tools are summarized and linked in a comprehensive Excel spreadsheet.
